Relax And Allow

That’s a thought-provoking statement, isn’t it? Its also very good advice. Learning to "let it be" is a key component to putting the law of attraction to work. In fact, if giving your energy to something is what drives the law of attraction, then your ability to relax and allow is at the core of its navigation.
Putting Things In Motion
Imagine for a moment that you have laundry to do. Thanks to technology, the only action required on your part is to put the process into motion by loading the clothes into the washer and then the dryer - your appliances will do the rest and when you load your pile of laundry, you have the clear belief that the laundry will get done.
But what it we didn’t just close the door and walk away? What if, instead of allowing our appliances to do their job, we stayed in the laundry room and checked on the clothes every few seconds? How long would it take to complete the process then?
Obviously, that would be counterproductive to our desire. Lifting the lid stops the machine, so the more we micromanage, the longer it will take for our laundry to be done.
The same is true with the law of attraction. Putting your intentions out into the Universe is essentially the same as loading those clothes into your washing machine. Walk away and and your clothes will get clean. But stay and interfere with the cycle and we only succeed in slowing down the process.
Getting Out Of Your Own Way
To really put the law of attraction into motion, you’re going to have to get out of your own way and let things manifest naturally. This is true no matter what area of your life you’re focused on, including wealth, health and yes, even your relationships.
Once you’ve sent your intentions for your perfect partner out into the Universe, your belief that your partner is coming is what turns that intention into reality. Doubt that process or give into the need to micromanage the steps and you’ll only success in slowing down your own happiness.
So, how can you stay out of your own way and let the Universe do its thing?
- Use statements such as "I have" and "I am" in your meditation instead of "I want" and "I need".
- Pretend that you already have all that you desire (because you do!) and approach life from that state of mind.
- Keep an open mind and open heart as you are presented with new opportunities.
- Practice positive imagery manifestation (such as with a vision board - see lesson #5 for more)
- Let go of any negative thoughts or emotions such as doubt, worry and insecurities
When you "relax and allow" you move from a state of wanting to a state of acceptance, signaling the Universe that you are ready to begin receiving your gifts. This is a wonderful place to be as you can simply sit back and enjoy all that the Universe has to offer without judgments or limitations.
Let go of limiting beliefs and allow the Universe to works its magic. Remember, your true love is looking for you too!
